About Asia Food Market
Your one stop shop for authentic Asian groceries & food.
Asia Food Market is an asian grocery store in Syracuse, New York. It is listed at 1449 Erie Blvd E, Syracuse, NY 13210, which places it among the local businesses of Syracuse that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as supermarket, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Syracuse with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9 amβ8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (315) 478-9888. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is asiafoodmkt.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,524 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Syracuse.
Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I go there for a few items that are hard to find. The staff are so RUDE it is ridiculous. Like maliciously rude. The cashier on our last trip, same rude female as always, kept slamming items into my daughters hands as she tried to bag things despite me saying something. Honestly abhorrent behaviour. She really should not be around people at all.

10/10, we drove 45 minutes to shop and it was worth it. Staff was helpful, Cashiers suggested new foods to try, and we liked the selection overall. Good prices, fantastic produce and they helped me pack all my groceries without crushing delicate produce. Most grocery stores mangle your carefully collected fruit. Not here! Would absolutely come back again.
